Don’t stir. Stirring will mess up the layering.Use a spoon. The spoon helps layer the wine on perfectly so it sits just on the surface of the margarita.Put the glasses you’re using in the freezer for a few minutes before you make the margaritas. Instead, add the wine layer just before you’re ready to serve in single cups!įor a pitcher, I usually multiply everything by eight!Ĭombine all of these ingredients in a large pitcher, then stir well with a wooden spoon or whisk! Store in the fridge until ready to pour, float, and serve! You won’t be able to layer on the red wine and then pour into individual glasses with the same effect. To make a pitcher of the devil’s margarita, I recommend mixing up the margarita portion of the drink (again, feel free to make YOUR favorite margarita as a base if you prefer). Even if you mess up, the drink still tastes good so you don’t have to waste a drop. It may take a little bit of practice to get it just right, but don’t worry.
